Dumfriesshire and Galloway Natural History and Antiquarian Society Online Volumes
This is a wonderful collection of mainly historical academic papers and articles pertaining to Dumfrieshire and Galloway. The papers include excavation reports on 16th C. castles, bronze age cairns, medieval churches, plus papers on placenames, famous people, and much more. You have to sift through the volumes, but it is a treasure trove for those who persevere.

Canmore Database for the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland
This is a fantastic site that gives quite a lot of archaeological information on monuments, landmarks, and even simply find sites for Scotland. You can search the database by placename or browse the map of the place your interested in and look for the little blue dots that indicate something intriguing. This is an amazing resource made freely available.

National Library of Scotland Maps
Another amazing free resource. Browse maps that date back to 1558 – some of which are mapped to Google Maps.

People and Places in Kirkcudbrightshire
A remarkable database of placenames and historical information organized by parish. This site only covers The Stewarty of Kirkcudbright (that is, Desnes Mor, Desnes Ioan, and Glen Ken in our game). I’m not aware of any comparable site for the remaining districts.

Projekt: Ars Magica.net
A database of products available for the game in all editions, complete with reviews.

The Ars Magica Wiki: A fan made wiki.
Atlas Games website: The current publishers of Ars Magica.
